My name is Gordon Burnett. I am a web and graphic designer currently based in Sydney, Australia. I am currently working freelance and am always on the lookout for interesting projects to work on. I am originally from Glasgow, Scotland and have been involved in design work for over 10 years now. I originally studied film, TV and animation at college and through these courses developed an eye for composition and storytelling which has served me well in my web design, illustration and graphic design work.

I have worked in a variety of roles within the design industry, these range from being a printer's assistant which involved a variety of reprographics work and gave me a solid grounding in the importance of paper stock, print finishing and placement of content on the page all the way up to taking the lead on projects for blue chip companies and the NHS.

I pride myself on having a wide range of skills and am equally comfortable working with print work as I am with online work both front end design and programming. I even, occasionally, still get a chance to do a bit of animation now and then.

I'm interested in art and design, cinema, traveling and fashion as you will no doubt discover as I post more blog entries and start using my Twitter feed!
